A points shop that drives 24/7 club retention
A gaming club + shisha bar open 365 days a year rolled out a Points Card with a rewards shop — players earn points per hour of play and redeem them for VIP sessions, energy drinks, bar vouchers. Regulars now visit 60% more often.
The challenge
UNIVERSE is a gaming club + shisha bar at Karmelicka 47 in Krakow — 40 stations, a VIP Lounge with a PS5, open 24/7 including holidays. The "regular gamer" came back often but not daily. There was no mechanism to turn "an occasional visit" into "a ritual".
Traditional stamp cards were a non-starter — with 24/7 hours and such a diverse menu (Game Zone, Bootcamp, Bootcamp Dark, Hookah Room, VIP) you can't squeeze it into "10 visits = 1 free". A flexible system was needed — one where the player picks their own reward.
Rollout: Points Card + Rewards Shop
UNIVERSE picked the Loyalif Business plan. Setup took a single afternoon. Points mechanic: 10 points per hour of play, 1 point per dollar spent at the bar. The full rewards shop was configured in the dashboard in 90 minutes.

Late-night push — the unexpected edge
UNIVERSE found something the numbers didn't reveal: their customers game AT NIGHT with their phone next to the keyboard. Push notifications sent between 10 PM and 2 AM hit 83% open rate — higher than any email marketing they'd tried.
Best-converting push: "You have 1,240 pts. Tonight's VIP Lounge session is 1,500 pts — only 260 left to claim." 47% CTR, and customers often TOP UP to redeem the session right away.
Results after 4 months
- +60% visit frequency for the "regular gamer" segment (definition: 4+ visits/month)
- 1,240 active cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
- 83% open rate on late-night push (Loyalif portfolio record)

What's next
UNIVERSE is planning a referral system — a player gets 500 pts for referring a friend, the friend gets 200 pts to start.
